How much mulch needed?

L x W x depth (ft) / 27 = cubic yards. 100 sq ft at 3 inches = ~1 cubic yard.

How deep to apply?

2-4 inches for most beds. Avoid piling against stems or trunks (causes rot).

Best mulch type?

Organic (wood chips, bark) improves soil. Inorganic (rubber, stone) lasts longer.

How often replace?
