Frequently Asked Questions
How many tiles do I need?
Calculate area (L x W), divide by one tile area. Add 10-15% for cuts and waste.
How much extra for waste?
10-15% for simple layouts, 15-20% for diagonal patterns. Spare tiles help with future repairs.
Tile spacing and grout lines?
Standard: 1/16-1/8 inch for rectified, 1/8-3/16 for non-rectified tiles.
Best tile size for small bathroom?
Large tiles (12x12+) make spaces appear bigger. Mosaic works well on shower floors for grip.
