Formula
Rolls = (Perimeter x Height - Openings) / Coverage per Roll + pattern waste. Standard roll: ~25-27 sq ft. Add 10-15% for pattern matching and trimming.
Example Calculations
Single Wall
Input: Wall: 12ft wide x 8ft tall, standard roll (25 sq ft)
Result: 4 rolls needed
Full Room
Input: Room: 12x14ft, 8ft ceiling, 1 door, 2 windows
Result: 7 rolls (including pattern match waste)
Large Pattern
Input: Room: 200 sq ft walls, 18-inch pattern repeat
Result: 10 rolls (extra for large pattern matching)
